Christmas Trees
We grow traditional Norway Spruce on our farm which can be chosen by you and cut on the day you choose. The trees are an average of seven or more years old and are replaced in a continuous cycle. Why not reduce your carbon footprint by buying a local freshly-cut tree. We also do try to provide a selection of pre-cut non-drop type trees such as Nordmann Fir.
None of our trees are wrapped in netting so you are able to fully examine each one. Experience has shown us that customers welcome this approach, just as many people enjoy selecting their tree growing in the plantation.
We want you to find your perfect tree and we appreciate that you will have to accommodate it in a particular space in your home. It can be very difficult to judge the quality, shape and width of netted trees and it may take some time for the branches to fall back into their natural form when they are unwrapped.
We hope that you are happy with all you purchase so we always try to help in every way we can. We also understand that you may not want to get needles in your car so we suggest that the best way to take it home is inside one of your old duvet covers. This does not crush the branches or create waste packaging and the cover can be washed and kept for next year. Alternatively, we are very happy to deliver locally, without charge and hopefully at a time that suits you and your family.
We are always happy to give advice to help you look after your Christmas tree and we welcome families to come and choose their own special tree (wellies and old clothes recommended).
